Hi, I’m Alana. I’m eighteen and I live just outside Glasgow in a place no one has heard of, surrounded by Shetland ponies and a forest and there’s even a castle.

My passions are art and literature. Art has always been really important to me, I could never give it up. I read a lot and I love writing, mostly I write short stories and poems. It’s a dream of mine to write a book one day.

I like sad music, 80’s bands, documentaries, philosophy and animals. I like movies that make me cry or make me think, I like books that do the same. I’m fascinated by serial killers and mental health. I’m also fascinated by outer space and the sea. I love 1920’s/40’s/50’s style and icons.  

My favourite tv shows are Twin Peaks, Game of Thrones, American Horror Story, Friends and Lost. Also Made In Chelsea is my guilty pleasure, don’t judge.

My favourite bands are The National and Joy Division however there are loads more. Mostly old bands.

I’m a bit of a nerd, really. And probably the most awkward person ever.
